The Brennan Bears beat the previously undefeated Brandeis Broncos 27-20, this Friday Night at Farris stadium, in what might have been the most exciting win in school history.

The previously undefeated broncos came into this match-up with the intentions of being completely dominant, but the Bears in true Brennan fashion, had other plans in store. The Brennan Defense held the Broncos to just 3 points in the first half and continued to be dominant throughout the game. The defense was led by Seniors DL Jeff Mcmillin,
LB Anziah Williams and DE Jordan Bussey.

The Brennan Offense proved that that they too could be a dominant against a great bronco defense. In the First half, offensive leaders, Jordan Flores and Jordan Smith made a connection for a 72 yd Touchdown to make the score 7-3. Late in the first half Senior RB Javon Grimes and the Brennan Offensive Line scored on a 5 yd run to make the score 14-3 going into the half.

Coming into the third quarter the Brennan Defense remained dominant. SO Justino Escobar and JR Keion Thomas both had interceptions that prevented the bronco offense from success.

The Brennan offense made work of the two quick stops and had a dominant drive on the bronco defense that would be finshed with 1yd TD run from JR Jordan Flores. Making the score 20-6.

The bronco offense took the field and with a last ditch effort scored twice to make the score 20-20 with minutes left on the clock. The Brennan offense with a lot to prove drove down 44 yd line. With time melting away. JR Jordan Flores and JR. Darryon Tolfree made a connection for a 12 yd Gain, But Tolfree took matters into his own hands. After breaking two tackles Tolfree found himself in a position to win the game scoring on a 44yd heroic reception making the score 27-20 Bears. With one final Bear Defense stop the game was over. BEARS WIN!!!!

The Brennan Bears will correct mistakes, heal up, and prepare for the Marshall Rams after their bye week on Thursday, October 11th @ Farris Stadium
