Game Recap

The Bears escaped a close game by the score of 15-14. The Bears got all their points in the 2nd quarter, and it was enough for the win. The first quarter, the Bears drove the length of the field, but it stalled out inside the 10. Warren went 3 and out and after a good punt return, Caleb Bagley scored on FB Belly. Olvera kicked the extra point to make it 7-0. The rest of the quarter was filled with good defense. The last play of the 1st half, Jeremy Garcia, threw a hitch to True Ellis who pitched it to Rashaud Blair who ran the rest of the way to score. A fake PAT pass from Garcia to Rodrick Walker put the Bears up 15-0. The second half saw some good defense from both teams. As the offense struggled, Kyle Cline, Jonathan Dyer, and Keion Thomas each had an interception to end Warrior drives. The final drive by Warren was ended by a forced fumble by Francisco Castillo and recovered by Skyler Topps to seal the game.

The 5th quarter was won by Brennan as well. A long drive by Warren was stalled on downs, and the Bears drove the field. The score was a long TD pass by David Varella to Michael McMullen to win the game 6-0.

The Bears are off next week, but will Take on Holmes in 2 weeks. October, Friday the 13th at Brennan. BFND!!
