Brennan Bears JV Falls In Back-And-Forth Affair Against Holmes

Even though Brennan Bears JV and Holmes both had their opportunities, it was Holmes that eventually prevailed 10-6 on Saturday. The game was tied at five with Holmes batting in the bottom of the fifth.

Brennan Bears JV collected nine hits and Holmes had 16 in the high-scoring affair.

Holmes took an early lead in the first inning.

Brennan Bears JV scored five runs in the fourth inning. Brennan Bears JV’s big inning was driven by a single by Dylan Velasquez, a stolen base , and a stolen base.

Jesse Medina and Adrian Cruz each collected multiple hits for Brennan Bears JV. Velasquez, Cruz, Nathan Aldaco, and Medina each drove in one run to lead Brennan Bears JV. Brennan Bears JV stole eight bases during the game as three players stole more than one. Eddie Flores led the way with two.
